Exploration Dome is a state-of-the-art, inflatable planetarium that brings the wonders of the universe directly to your location. Whether you are a school, museum, library, summer camp, or hosting a birthday party, our mobile dome can travel to you, providing an immersive, educational experience for groups of all sizes, aligning with the Florida N.G.S.S. Science standards. Exploration Dome is powered by utilizing Digitalis Education technology, including the Digitarium® Portable Systems including their Digitalis inflatable dome utilizing the Digitarium Mu system. Our setup allows us to transform any space into a dynamic learning environment, featuring live projections of star patterns, constellations, and other astronomical phenomena. With our flexible and convenient service, you can bring the excitement of a planetarium visit to your doorstep, making it easy to incorporate hands-on, standards-aligned learning into your event or curriculum.

Primary (K-2)

SC.3.E.5.3- Recognize that the Sun appears large and bright because it is the closest star to the Earth.

SC.4.E.5.3- Recognize that the Earth revolves around the Sun in one year and rotates on its axis in a 24 hours day.

SC.4.E.5.1- Observe that the patterns of the stars in the sky stay the same although they appear to shift across the sky nightly, and different stars can be seen in different seasons.

SC.4.E.5.2- Describe the changes in the observable shape of the Moon over the course of a month.

SC.4.E.5.4- Relate that the rotation of the Earth (day and night) and the apparent movement of the Sun, Moon, and stars are connected.
